According to a study conducted by research and analysis company REACH in Saudi Arabia, over 65% of the women with children under the age of three years are suffering from skin diseases while about 53% of the kids in the Kingdom also face the same problem.

About 45% of the women accepted that they have extremely dry skin, while 65% of them accepted that they have reoccurring skin problems. Among children, dry skin was considered the most common problem by 40% mothers, closely followed by inflammation by 39%.

About two third of the women accepted that it has a negative impact on their confidence. The emotional impact didn't end here as about 60% of the women accepted that they were not able to be their best self when suffering from skin ailments.

The increase in skin problems has led to a widespread demand of skin care products from men, women and even youngsters, making it the most dynamically growing segments of the economy. The skin care segment in India grew at CAGR of 16.4 percent between 2011 and 2015, and is expected to double by 2021.
