7 beauty products to complete your make-up kit

We list the 7 essential beauty must-haves in your make-up kit, and why you need them.

Make-up is every woman’s best friend (after diamonds, of course). It gives your face definition and mutes your imperfections.

If you apply make-up every day, you must already have a fully stocked make-up bag. But if you’re thinking of having one, these are the 7 essential beauty products you should put in it:

Cleanser. This is a surprising addition – or so most women feel – but a cleanser also serves the purpose of removing make-up. Not only does it keep the skin clear of dead cells, dirt and oil, it also removes make-up after you get home. You can use cleanser to correct make-up applied wrongly – just a quick swipe with a cotton bud will do.

Hydrating serum. Once your skin is cleaned, and before you apply concealer and foundation, lightly tap hydrating serum into the skin. The serum is quickly absorbed and it penetrates deep into the tissues to promote hydration, aid cellular repair and also remove dead skin cells. The skin becomes more radiant and elastic, and is able to stave off signs of ageing much better. Remember, make-up cannot adequately hide acne, so it is better to have good skin instead of relying entirely on makeup to do the job.

Concealer. This is the most important beauty product in your make-up kit. It is designed to conceal all the flaws in the skin – bumps and depressions, acne scars, uneven skin tone, and other factors that mar your complexion. Apply it on the problem areas and wait for a couple of minutes for the product to settle.

Foundation. After the concealer, apply foundation. The foundation should exactly match your skin tone – too light, and it will look clownish, too dark and it will look dull. Many women suffer from acne breakouts after using foundation. Oil-based foundation causes the problem of clogged pores and acne. Instead, use a powder foundation that is easier to remove, and which sits on the skin lightly. Or you can look for a light water-based foundation.

Lip gloss. This one’s an essential beauty product for every woman. Lip gloss keeps your lips from chapping. The skin on the lips is very thin, so it gets dry and breaks quite easily. You can use a tinted lip gloss or lip balm over your lipstick. Make sure to replenish the gloss every time you feel that your lips have gone dry.

Liquid eyeliner. Eyeliner accentuates your lovely eyes and makes them immediately noticeable. Though most women use pencil kohl because it is more convenient, it is better to use liquid eyeliner. Liquid eyeliner is easy to remove and also easy to apply, once you get used to it. The best eyeliners comprise Vitamin E, which make the lashes longer and thicker.

Mascara. This is another essential beauty product – have you ever tried applying mascara without eyeliner? Longer, darker lashes that frame your eyes make them look stunning. They also give your eyes a fresh look. But be sure to remove mascara carefully at the end of the day, or it will clot and the particles will enter your eyes.

All You Need To Know About Skin Pigmentation

Skin pigmentation can take many forms, and the condition points to an imbalance in the skin cells that produce melanin. This article looks at the condition. You may have noticed it in somebody else, or maybe in yourself – a discoloured patch of skin on the face or body, either darker than the rest of the skin or lighter. There are some whose entire body is covered in white skin, accompanied by light hair and eyes. In others, there are prominent spots or skin lesions. All of these conditions point to different types of skin pigmentation. What is it? Skin pigmentation is a general term used to describe a change in the skin’s cellular composition that brings about discolouration of the skin. The skin gets its colour from melanin, a pigment present in the dermis. It is produced by melanocytes, which are special cells present in the upper layer of the skin called the epidermis. When melanin is produced, it quickly starts spreading across the skin – thus, your skin is uni

Botox and Facial Fillers – How do they work?

There is a difference in the way botox and dermal facial fillers work. This article explains the need for both, and how to get a good treatment for botox in Dubai. Wrinkles and fine lines are a natural effect of aging. But they can make you look much older than your actual years. If you want to get rid of these unseemly wrinkles, you could consider getting a filler injection or Botox in Dubai. How are Botox and dermal filler treatments different? Most people are confused between Botox and dermal facial filler treatments. Though both are used to reduce the fine lines and wrinkles on the face, they are dramatically different in the way they are administered and how they function. With Botox, you are administered tiny doses of Botulinum Toxin, a neurotoxin that is injected into the nerve in the wrinkle being targeted. The nerve is deactivated temporarily, thus inhibiting the muscle that it sends impulses to. In turn, the muscle is also deactivated, which relaxes the

A major task for every woman is probably taking care of the hair problems in a sense of having to maintain a hair free body and that too in all the appropriate parts of the body. Women also have to go through a lot of pains in the literal sense to get a hairless body. Hair removal styles such as waxing and even shaving have certain disadvantages.
