Depilatory creams are good hair removal solutions that do not create a mess. They are great for women who do not have time to book salon appointments for hair removal.

In contrast, a depilatory cream offers better results because it dissolves the hair just below the skin’s surface. The hair follicle may take four to six days to regrow and resurface out of the skin.

You cannot use them if you have problem skin. As mild as most depilatory creams are, they are still composed of chemicals and perfumes. If you have problematic skin, you must be circumspect about using the cream. Some women experience skin rashes, redness and soreness after using hair removal creams.
